About Us

Lightspec, Inc. was founded in 1992 by David Seconi in Rochester NY with the purpose of representing lighting manufacturers and selling lighting and its associated products.

Since then Lightspec has added several offices across the state and offers a wide range of support services for architects, designers, contractors, engineers, and distributors.

Our products support architectural, commercial, industrial, residential, outdoor, and sports lighting applications.They represent markets from distributor shelf goods and showroom items, to high-end architectural and specification products, to a complete line of lighting controls, including theatrical dimming, energy management controls products, and low voltage lighting and sensors.

Our staff collectively shares well over a hundred years of experience in the lighting industry. The company provided the expertise, products, and support that have lit a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including residential developments, grocery stores, transportation terminals, streets, and bridges across New York State.

Our four main offices in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse provide coverage to all the major markets, including Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Jamestown, Olean, Rochester, Hornell, Watertown, Syracuse, Binghamton, Elmira, Corning, Albany, Utica, Glens Falls, Plattsburg, Schenectady, and the Mid-Hudson Valley.
